The RSPB has a lovely new collection in its shop with some very pretty roses in their Power to Pollinators collection.

They would make fantastic gifts for anyone who loves roses and also wants to encourage pollinators to the garden.

There are rose shrubs and also rose climbers; in all there are nine possible choices, each costing £30.00.  Of course one of the nice things about giving somebody something like a rose Bush or a rose climber is that they can enjoy it for a number of years to come. This means your gift will last and give pleasure over the years.

Another lovely thing about buying a gift from the RSPB is that of course you can support nature through your shopping!

The RSPB say that for each rose sold in the Power to Pollinators’ collection, a £2.50 donation will be made to them to help fund vital conservation work to save the UK’s wildlife - win wins all round, as the roses will help wildlife too!

By the way they also have this rather gorgeous and fun frog planter which I couldn't resist adding here.  The frog is suitable for indoor and outdoor use; he's weather-resistant!   And you could use him for plants or flowers or succulents.  He measures roughly 19 cm by 25 cm.

I love quirky, fun socks!   They always seem to give me a lift in spirits when I put them on, and they're something different.   Even if you're wearing them under boots, you know they are there and that you've put some fun into your outfit.

So I was delighted to see the National Trust for Scotland has some great sock gifts!  They'd be perfect for anyone who adores Scotland, who loves the idea of Nessie the Loch Ness Monster, and those in your life who love Highland Cows.

The National Trust for Scotland has a new range of delightful socks!

In the old days, socks could be deemed as a bit of a boring present to give someone - but these are so different and colourful and fun!

There are some featuring Highland Cows, some with the Nessie the Loch Ness Monster, some with a floral pattern or thistles, and some with stags on.  So they feature things you'd associate with Scotland - socks with a Scottish theme!

What's more, the National Trust for Scotland has an offer on -  you can buy any 3 pairs of Bamboo socks for £20!  Just add 3 pairs of socks to your basket to activate the offer - the discount is applied at checkout.
