Friends of the Koala are in New South Wales.  They are committed to conserving koalas and preserving and enhancing their habitat.  Adoptions help with the rescue and treatment of sick and injured koalas and where possible, these beautiful animals are leased back to the wild.  Adoptions also help contribute to habitat restoration and research into the prevalence of disease in koala populations.  From $50 Australian - adoptions last 12 months, and you can renew.  Adopt a Koala here

Like all species, koalas need habitat, places to live and rest, which provide the right food for them.  You could sponsor koala habitat with the Koala Clancy Foundation for $100 Australian (roughly £55, depending on the exchange rate).  Without no habitat, there will be no koalas!  Sponsor habitat here
Adopt Grant from the Save the Koala

Adopt a Koala from the Australian Koala Foundation

You can adopt a koala from the Australian Koala Foundation in Queensland.  It is dedicated to the conservation and effective management of the wild koala and its habitat.

Includes wild koalas, mums & joeys, adults, just joeys..  Or you can plant a tree (or as many trees as you like) for koala habitat.  


Adopt a Koala from the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital

You can also adopt a koala from the Koala Hospital in Port Macquarie in New South Wales.  The Port Macquarie Koala Hospital is a licensed wildlife rehabilitation facility. You can have an e-adoption or an adoption package (and international delivery is available though international packages take 2 to 3 weeks to arrive, but you're still helping koalas with this adoption).
