Adopt a Flower

Here's a gift idea for anyone who loves flowers, and wild flowers in particular.

You can adopt a flower!

You can do this from Plantlife, a UK conservation charity.  Plantlife works both in the UK and internationally to save threatened wild flowers, plants and fungi.   They own nearly 4,500 acres of nature reserve across England, Scotland and Wales - and here you can find over 80% of the UK's wild flowers.  And Plantlife's conservation experts work with businesses, land-owners, conservation organisations, governments and community groups as they work to save rare flora and enable flowers and plants to thrive.

Adopt a flower from Plantlife and you'll support their wild plant conservation programmes.

Adoptions cost £20 for a year and you can personalise your adoption with a message.   There are ten choices to choose from, including these beautiful flowers below.
