Christmas Cards

It's that time of year again when the summer (what summer, I hear you ask?!) is flying by and thoughts of autumn and winter are starting to creep in.  And Christmas is starting to make an appearance - even if it is August.  So here are some ideas for Christmas cards for you, some for charities and some not, to help you get ready for Christmas well in advance!

The RSPB has a sale on Christmas cards!

The RSPB has a sale on their Christmas cards - you can get 15% off until the 3rd September 2024 (T&Cs apply).  They have some lovely cards including these two featuring puffins and a Christmas tree, dormice, our feathered friends, donkeys, owls, blackbirds, blue tits and more.  They've also got a bumper pack of 40 cards.

This is a great way to support the RSPB and the work they are doing for our natural world.  They've got everything you need for Christmas, from wrapping paper to decorations, gifts galore and crackers.

They've also got calendars and diaries, so that you can make the most of 2025!  And they've got a special offer on these, too, on regular and slimline calendars - you can buy 2 and save £3.00! (This offer ends 24 December 2024).

The National Trust

The National Trust has an online shop selling lots of love Christmas cards, including a value pack box of 30.  Some of their card packs feature robins, some sheep, and there are hares and puffins too, as well as dormice and harvest mice.  There are also scenes such as Mompesson House and Blickling Hall.

The Trust also has calendars and diaries, and a family organiser to keep you on track in 2025.   The diaries and calendars range features slim diaries and calendars, and desk diaries too.

If you're looking for a gift, there are throws and blankets to keep everyone warm, plus scarves and hats.  And they've got pretty notecards as well - perfect for writing those thank you notes!

English Heritage has this lovely pack of ten Christmas cards called Christmas Town Christmas Cards.   They are blank inside, so that you can write your own message - and they are very cheery on the front!  They have other Christmas cards too, some featuring Stonehenge, that famous landmark!  For £6.00 from English Heritage (who, by the way, also have hundreds of gifts for history lovers, including a Gift Membership!)  Visit English Heritage's shop here.

A pop up card could be described as a mixture of a card and a gift, all in one!  They make great decorations, and you could put them on the mantlepiece or a cupboard or desk to enjoy.  It's a letterbox gift, and this Christmas Train Pop Up Card features a Santa train, full of bags of presents as it heads through the countryside!   You can also keep it, so that you can bring it out year after year to decorate your home!  Cardology also have other themed Christmas cards, including one for cat lovers and one for dog lovers, both of which support Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
