The Great British Pottery Throw Down is Back!
Great news! The Great British Pottery Throw Down starts a new series on Sunday 2nd January 2022! It's on Channel 4.
It kicks off at 7:45pm on Channel 4, and Ellie Taylor is host. There are 12 contestants all hoping to impress the judges (Keith Brymer Joes and Rich Miller), and their first task is to create a children's crockery set and ceramic milk bottles.
If you're a fan and you'd love to have a go at a pottery throw down experience, then the good news is that you could get someone to treat you (or treat yourself) to a pottery experience. There are a number around the country and there are a few examples below. It's a great way to immerse yourself in something completely different for a couple of hours - and who knows, you may even find a talent for it.

Enjoy the rural peace and get creative! You'll be designated a potter's wheel to share, and there's a professional potter ready to coach you through the process. You each have the chance to make two pots, and then your favourite will be fired and glazed. You'll be able to collect it from the studio about a month later or you can arrange for its delivery (that's an extra cost). Find out more from Virgin Experience Days
